Brampton (Canada), Region of Peel: Investigators from the 22 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau (CIB) of Peel Regional Police have arrested three men in connection with two shooting incidents in Brampton.
Police responded to reports of shots fired at residences in the Rolling Acres Drive area on July 10 and 11, 2025. No injuries were reported. The suspects fled the scene in a black Chrysler 300, which was later recovered in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on July 13.
Following a detailed investigation, three individuals were arrested and charged:
On July 27, police arrested Husandeep Singh, 20, of Mississauga. He was charged with Discharge Firearm with Intent and Extortion.
On August 26, members of 22 CIB travelled to Winnipeg and arrested Gurpreet Singh, 23, of no fixed address, on a Canada-wide warrant. He was charged with Discharge Firearm with Intent (x2) and Extortion.
On September 12, investigators arrested Gurdeep Shergill, 26, of Delta, British Columbia, in Surrey with assistance from the Surrey Police Service. He was charged with Discharge Firearm with Intent (x2) and Extortion.
All three men were held for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
Peel Regional Police acknowledged the support of the Surrey Police Service in the successful conclusion of the arrests.
