Simranjeet Singh and Parteek Ehitaan, both residents of Windsor, were arrested

Brampton(Canada)Simranjeet Singh and 20-year-old Prateek Ehitaan, both residents of Windsor, were arrested for Attempted Murder in Armed Carjacking. Peel Regional Police’s Central Robbery Bureau, in collaboration with Windsor Police Service, have arrested and charged two individuals in relation to an armed carjacking in Brampton.

On May 10, 2025, a Brampton man was stabbed after arranging to sell his Dodge Challenger on Facebook Marketplace. While on a test drive with two suspects, one produced an edged weapon, threatened the victim, and stabbed him in the throat when he refused to exit the vehicle. The suspects fled in the car, and the victim was taken to a trauma centre with serious injuries.

The victim’s vehicle was later recovered by police in Windsor the next day. On Sept. 11, 22-year-old Simranjeet Singh and 20-year-old Parteek Ehitaan, both residents of Windsor, were arrested for the following offences:

Attempted Murder
Robbery
Aggravated Assault
Both were held for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice
