GREENWOOD, Indiana — The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Indianapolis Field Office has announced the arrest of Gurpreet “Harman” Singh in Greenwood, Indiana, as part of Operation Hard Ball, a federal enforcement initiative targeting alleged members of violent transnational organised crime networks. According to the FBI, Singh was taken into custody this week on a federal warrant. He is accused of being associated with a violent transnational criminal enterprise allegedly involved in a range of serious offences, including racketeering, targeted killings, shootings, extortion, and the international trafficking of large quantities of narcotics.
Federal authorities said the charges are allegations, and Singh is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. The FBI stated that the arrest was carried out with the cooperation of multiple law enforcement agencies in the United States and internationally.
