Tarn Taran – As regional parties unite against the Central Government’s authoritarianism, self-styled leaders like Giani Harpreet Singh are conspiring to weaken Punjab’s rights for personal gain. Shiromani Akali Dal’s Vice President and Khadoor Sahib former MLA Ravinder Singh Brahmpura condemned Giani Harpreet Singh’s so-called ‘new principle’ on states’ rights as a collusion with the Centre to betray Punjab’s rights, fully exposed by Shiromani Akali Dal.
Questioning his very authority, Brahmpura asked how the head of an unregistered and fraudulent outfit could claim to represent Punjab on the national stage. He condemned this act as a profound betrayal of the Anandpur Sahib Resolution, stating that Giani Singh has abandoned the core struggle for rights by promoting a weak and submissive ‘cooperation’ narrative. This is undeniable proof of his collusion with the Centre and exposes a clear conspiracy against the interests of Punjab.
Brahmpura said, “We warned that these are traitors breaking panthic unity and aiding anti-Punjab forces. A person unaware of critical issues like the SYL cannot preach empty ‘state-to-state unity’ but reveals political immaturity. His actions today prove this.”
Brahmpura concluded that Shiromani Akali Dal will fiercely protect Punjab’s rights and the Anandpur Sahib resolution against illegitimate actors like Giani Harpreet Singh risking Punjab’s future for personal publicity.
