AAP Sends Rajinder Gupta to Rajya Sabha — Because Why Should Loyalty Get in the Way of Luxury?

Satire-So, the Aam Aadmi Party has done it again — proving that in Punjab politics, irony isn’t dead; it’s just wearing a designer suit and flying business class to Delhi. Rajinder Gupta, a man whose loyalty to his society is about as steady as a Wi-Fi signal in a thunderstorm, is now being packed off to the Rajya Sabha. Apparently, the Parliament was running low on people with overflowing bank accounts and an underflowing conscience.

Once upon a time, AAP claimed to be the voice of the common man — now it seems they only listen to the rustle of currency notes. Loyalty, integrity, service — these were the ingredients of leadership once. But AAP’s new recipe is simpler: take one wealthy industrialist, sprinkle some political convenience, stir with hypocrisy, and serve in the name of “change.”

If faithfulness to one’s community were a qualification, Rajinder Gupta’s application would have been rejected before the ink dried. But alas, this is not a meritocracy — it’s a marketplace. The party that once promised to sweep away corruption now seems more interested in sweeping rich men into Parliament.

Punjab’s people, still waiting for jobs, justice, and development, can only watch and laugh — because what else can one do when the same “aam aadmi” party sends a man who has never even stood in a ration queue to represent them? It’s like hiring a wolf to run a sheep shelter.

So here’s to AAP’s new slogan: “Not faithful to society? Not a problem! Faithful to money? Welcome aboard!
