SANGRUR, Punjab:( By Satnam Singh Chahal ) Congress MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla has called upon people across Punjab to participate in a major ‘Insaf Rally’ scheduled to be held in Sangrur on November 4, under the leadership of senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
In a message shared on social media, Aujla said the rally would provide a platform to raise Punjab’s concerns over justice, security, farmers’ rights and the growing demand for a drug-free Punjab.
“Punjab rises for justice,” Aujla declared while urging supporters and citizens to join the gathering. He called upon people to reach Sangrur and participate in what he described as a historic rally aimed at raising the voice of Punjab.
The rally is expected to bring together Congress leaders, party workers and supporters from different parts of the state. The party is seeking to highlight issues that have remained central to Punjab’s political and social landscape, including farmers’ concerns, law and order, drug abuse and the protection of public rights.
By placing justice, security and farmers’ welfare at the centre of the rally, Congress leaders are seeking to connect with public concerns and strengthen their political outreach in Punjab.
The November 4 gathering in Sangrur is also likely to serve as an important political show of strength for the Congress in the state, as the party continues to challenge the ruling government over its handling of key public issues.
Aujla’s appeal concluded with a clear message to supporters: “Chalo Sangrur!” — calling on Punjab to unite for what the party describes as its fight for justice and a better future.
The rally’s actual turnout and the issues raised during the gathering will determine its broader political impact.
