This time, the incident has emerged from a Gurdwara in Idar-Oberstein, where a violent clash between two groups led to chaos inside the sacred premises, raising serious concerns about discipline, unity, and respect for religious institutions.
According to reports and a viral video circulating on social media, two factions engaged in a fierce physical altercation inside the Gurdwara. What should have been a place of peace and spiritual reflection turned into a battleground, with individuals seen grabbing each other, fighting aggressively, and creating panic among the congregation. In the chaos, several Sikh turbans — symbols of dignity and honor — were knocked off and seen scattered on the ground, a deeply distressing sight for the community.
Even more alarming were visuals showing individuals stumbling and falling onto the Palki Sahib, the sacred platform where Guru Granth Sahib is respectfully placed. Such scenes have sparked outrage, as they reflect a grave disregard for the sanctity of the Guru’s presence. Eyewitness accounts and claims suggest that one व्यक्ति even drew a kirpan and attempted to attack others during the scuffle, further escalating the violence.
Reports also indicate that the situation spilled outside the Gurdwara premises, where some members of the congregation allegedly faced gunfire and were subjected to pepper spray attacks. Though these claims are still under verification, the incident reportedly left at least 11 people injured, adding to the seriousness of the episode.
