Mohali-A rally against vote theft was organized by Youth Congress at Palazzo Palace near village Tangauri. Addressing the rally on this occasion, senior Congress leader and former Health Minister S. Balbir Singh Sidhu said that Rahul Gandhi is struggling to protect democracy in the country and the BJP government is using the government machinery to silence him.
Sidhu said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is busy protecting the Ambani and Adani family, ignoring the concerns of the people. Unemployment and poverty in the country have touched new heights. He said that if the country has to be saved, every citizen will have to participate in the anti-BJP fight under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi.
During this rally led by Youth Congress leader Advocate Kanwarbir Singh Ruby Sidhu, young Mukul Sharma Nagari was also handed over the appointment letter as the President of Youth Congress Block Mohali and Kulbir Singh Bhago Majra as the Vice President.
While Sidhu made sharp attacks on the BJP, he also criticized the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab, calling the AAP government a pawn of the BJP and said that Narendra Modi is busy looting the country and Kejriwal and his team are busy looting Punjab. The law and order situation in the state has come to an end. If elections are held in the country and Punjab today, Narendra Modi and Kejriwal will not be found anywhere, because people are fed up with both these parties.
Speaking on the occasion, All India Congress Committee Secretary Manoj Yadav, Punjab Youth Congress President Mohit Mahindra and MP Amar Singh also shared their views and said that the BJP formed its governments in Haryana and Maharashtra through vote theft and is now trying to loot the Bihar assembly elections.
He said that vote rigging is a big threat to a healthy democracy and by doing so, BJP has destroyed democracy. He appealed to the youth to support the Congress Party and Rahul Gandhi in their struggle against BJP and Aam Aadmi Party.
